The POCO M5 and the POCO M5s are all set to launch on Sept. 5 in the global market. A new report by 91mobiles carries leaked renders of both devices. In addition, it has also leaked the prices of both smartphones for the European market.
As can be seen in the leaked render, the POCO M5 will be arriving in three colors, such as black, yellow, and green. The image shows that the phone has a waterdrop-shaped notch on the front, a fingerprint scanner on the side, two cameras on the back with an LED flash, and a back that looks like leather.
The device is confirmed to feature a 90Hz display and the Helio G99 chipset. It will be available in 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage configurations. Both models are expected to cost 189 euros and 209 euros, respectively.
The POCO M5 leaked renders show that it will be available in black, white, and blue colors. It has a punch-hole display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a square-shaped camera module on the back, which features a triple camera unit with an LED flash. The M5s is said to cost 229 euros for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant and 249 euros for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model.
The POCO M5 will also debut in India on the same day. Rumors are rife that the global model will have support for NFC connectivity, but the Indian variant will lack it. Also, the POCO M5s may not launch in India.
