Although there have been much chattering about the upcoming POCO X3 for the past couple of months, but its only until today that we’re finally able to have our first near-official look at the device.
According to the official-looking render published on MIUI Turkiye, the upcoming POCO X3 will no longer be a rebranded Xiaomi/ Redmi smartphone – something which most of us are eager to see.
At the front, the POCO X3 features a central hole-punch display which reminds us of Samsung’s Infinity-O display with thin bezels along the sides. Due to the existence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it is likely that the front display will be a LCD panel which measures 6.67-inches diagonally and boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. As for its front-facing camera, it is said to be a 20 megapixels sensor.
On the flip-side, the device has a circular camera module which shares a close resemblance to that of the Redmi K30 Pro. However, it is obvious that its 64MP quad-cameras system has been rejigged into a new arrangement. This time round, the POCO X3 also has a huge logo on its back panel, which seems to become a trend among recent smartphones.
Based on the information revealed by MIUI Turkiye, the POCO X3 is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 732 SoC, and will be equipped with a massive 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
If nothing goes wrong, the POCO X3 could debut as early as September 8th according to the same source.
