The POCO X3 NFC which was launched earlier this month is already available in most Asian and European markets. Within three days after the device went on sale, more than 100,000 units had already been sold globally.
Right now, the same device is gearing up for its local launch in one of its biggest market – India. If you still remember, a recent Geekbench listing had suggested that the Indian variant will have a new model with 8GB RAM.
Furthermore, reputable tipster @stufflistings had recently spotted the Indian variant of the POCO X3 on Google Play Console as well. Interestingly, this model doesn’t carries the term “NFC” within its moniker. This is unlike the global variant which was marketed as POCO X3 NFC.
This gave rise to speculations that the Indian model may not be coming with NFC support as part of the company’s effort to keep its launch price competitive.
Other than the omission of NFC support and difference in RAM capacity, the rest rest of its specs are expected to remain unchanged.
While the POCO X3 NFC arrives with a starting price of 229 Euros (~INR20,000), but POCO India’s General Manager C Manmohan had hinted that the device is likely to cost more than after taking into account the local taxes.
