After weeks of teasing, POCO has officially unleashed the company’s next blockbuster – POCO X3 NFC – which not only pack a set of impressive specs, but also an utterly affordable launch price starting from just S$329.
The all-new POCO X3 NFC takes aim at some of the more popular Samsung’s Galaxy A-series smartphones, as well as the up and coming Realme 7 Pro which we believe is likely to be launched in the local market eventually.
For starter, the POCO X3 NFC is built around a huge 6.67-inches FHD+ LCD display which offers a nice 20:9 aspect ratio. Despite its low-price, its front display do features a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate that really makes the device stood out from the crowd.
This time round, its front display employs a central hole-punch design to accommodate its 20 megapixels selfie camera. As usual, the side bezels are kept to the minimum to maintain a high screen-to-ratio.
At the back, there will be a circular camera module which has a slight resemblance of what we’d saw on the POCO F2 Pro. It houses a total of four cameras including a 64MP (f/1.89 aperture) Sony IMX682 primary shooter, 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FoV, 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera, as well as a 2MP (F/2.4 aperture) depth sensor.
Under the hood, the POCO X3 NFC is the first smartphone globally to feature the newly announced Snapdragon 732G SoC which is capable of “delivering immersive gameplay backed by smarter, faster artificial intelligence (AI) and accelerated performance”.
On top of that, it also have up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage within the memory department. If you find the internal storage insufficient, its good to know that it can be further expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card as well.
In order to provide an all-rounded entertainment experience for its users, the POCO X3 NFC features a dual stereo speakers comprising of a 4cc-equivalent upper speaker, as well as a 1cc-equivalent lower speaker. Of course, if you prefer to use a headphone, you’ll be glad to hear that the 3.5mm headphone jack will be present as well.
To sweeten the deal, the POCO X3 NFC also come with a “LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus” that keeps your device during intensive gaming runs. Once again, liquid cooling system is another nice-to-have feature which we don’t usually see among mid-ranger phones – so kudos to POCO on this!
In terms of connectivity, the device will be able to support 4G LTE, NFC (as hinted by its name), the usual Wi-Fi 5, as well as Bluetooth 5.1. Last but not the least, the POCO X3 NFC will be helmed by a massive 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support which is capable of delivering a full charge within 65 minutes according to the company. Needless to say, it will run on the latest MIUI 12 (for POCO) based Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the POCO X3 NFC is available in two different color options including Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue. Its 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB models will be priced at S$329 and S$399 respectively.
