For the past few weeks, we’d been hearing lots of chattering about the upcoming POCO X3, which was dubbed by many as the potential OnePlus Nord-killer.
Today, POCO has finally brought us a good news by confirming that the highly-anticipated POCO X3 smartphone will be officially launched on September 7th. It will be the first smartphone in the world to feature the latest Snapdragon 732G chipset.
Courtesy of an earlier leaked render published by MIUI Turkiye, we now have a good idea of how the upcoming POCO X3 will look like. More notably, POCO X3 will (for the first time) no longer be a rebranded Xiaomi/ Redmi smartphone.
Starting with the front, the POCO X3 will feature a central hole-punch display accompanied by thin bezels along its two sides. It is expected to be a LCD display which measures 6.67-inches diagonally and boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it is also features a 20 megapixels selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Over at the back, the device has a circular camera module which shares a close resemblance to what we’d saw on the Redmi K30 Pro. The camera module will be housing a quad-cameras system which will be headlined by a 64 megapixels primary shooter. Another notable feature will no doubt be the huge “POCO” logo etched to the back of the device.
To keep its light on, the POCO X3 will be fitted with a massive 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support which promises a full charge within 65 minutes.
