It seems like POCO will actively launch new phones in multiple markets starting next year. The POCO C50 is likely to debut in the first week of January in India. Later in the same month or February, the Chinese manufacturer is expected to unveil the POCO X5 and X5 Pro. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek has revealed key details about both smartphones.
According to the tipster, the POCO X5 will be based on the Redmi Note 12 5G, which debuted as Xiaomi’s first Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 phone in October in China. The leak states that instead of the SD4G1 chip, the POCO X5 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 mobile platform. The other specifications of the X5 could be identical to the Note 12 5G.
The tipster further said that the POCO X5 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. For those who don’t know, the Redmi Note 12 Pro SE and the Redmi K60 series were both announced in China last week.
