Poco is all set to unveil the Poco X7 series of smartphones on Jan. 9 for the global market, including India. The brand has already confirmed that the Poco X7 Pro will debut with the recently unveiled Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. Today, it confirmed the battery size of the device. Surprisingly, the global and Indian variants of the phone pack different sized batteries.
Poco X7 Pro battery size confirmed
As seen in the first poster, the Poco X7 Pro heading to the Indian market will pack a 6,550mAh battery. Meanwhile, the X7 Pro releasing in other markets will have a slightly smaller 6,000mAh battery. Currently, there is no confirmation of what other differences exist between the global and Indian editions of the X7 Pro.
Previous teasers have confirmed that the Poco X7 Pro will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera. For duality, it will feature an IP69 rated chassis.
The front of the X7 Pro is yet to be revealed. However, rumors have claimed that it has a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it is said to have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The D8400-Ultra chip will be accompanied by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is speculated to support 90W fast charging. It is also confirmed to be the first Poco phone to come preloaded with HyperOS 2.0-based Android.
Redmi will launch the Redmi Turbo 4 in China tomorrow. It is speculated that the Poco X7 Pro will arrive as a rebranded version of the Turbo 4.
