A mysterious OPPO smartphone has been spotted being used in a subway in China. The leaked image of the device (shown below) reveals a unique camera module that hasn’t been seen before. It is speculated that it could be the Find X7 Pro smartphone.
As seen in the image below, the OPPO phone can be sporting a quad-camera setup inside the octagonal camera module, which has a fair bit of protrusion. While the front side of the device is not revealed, it is expected to feature an OLED panel with curved edges.
Reports surrounding the cameras of the Find X7 Pro claim that it will have a 1-inch LYT-900 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. It is the same camera that is expected to be available on the Vivo X100 Pro+ and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which are expected to launch in April 2024.
The main camera snapper is likely to be joined by three 50-megapixel cameras, out of which one will be an ultra-wide lens, whereas the remaining two will be periscope telephoto cameras. In fact, it is said that the Find X7 Pro will be the first smartphone to feature dual periscope zoom cameras. One of them will be an IMX890 camera sensor with 2.7x optical zoom, while the other one will be an IMX858 camera sensor with 6x optical zoom.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the device is expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There is a possibility that the device will ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is no information about the other specs of the device.
