A reliable tipster from China has claimed a Chinese factory brand is planning to launch a new smartphone that will be arriving as a sequel for the SD845 powered smartphone that was launched in July. He has also shared some details on the features of the phone. In July, Vivo’s gaming phone division iQOO had launched the Snapdragon 845 powered smartphone in China. Hence, it appears that iQOO could be working on a more powerful edition of the iQOO Neo.
According to the tipster, the upcoming smartphone’s SD845 will be swapped with Snapdragon 855 chipset. He further stated that its 22.5W fast charging technology will be replaced by 33W fast charging. Other details of the smartphone are not known yet, but he did reveal that it features an OLED display with waterdrop notch and in-screen fingerprint reader and a 4,500mAh battery. He added the pricing of the phone could be very cheap.
The iQOO Neo had launched with a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and in-screen fingerprint reader. The SoC was coupled with up to 12 GB of RAM and it offered users with up to 128 GB of storage. Its rear has 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system and it has a front camera of 12-megapixel. The 4,500mAh battery of the phone supports 22.5W fast charging.
