As seen above in the screenshot, a Meizu battery (model number: BA468) bearing a 5,400mAh rated value was recently certified by China’s 3C certification platform. While the listing does not reveal anything else, it is a good hint that the said battery will power an upcoming Meizu smartphone.

Reliable leaker Digital Chat Station has seemingly shared initial information about this mysterious phone. Although the leak doesn’t explicitly mention the company or the phone’s name, the emoji used strongly suggests he could be talking about an upcoming Meizu smartphone.

DCS said that the next Meizu smartphone will be equipped with a flat display and the above-mentioned battery, which will offer a typical value of 5,500mAh. In addition, his Weibo post suggests that the device will ship with an UP2033 charger that supports up to 66W fast charging. Lastly, he also said that the device has a Snapdragon AI chipset.

For the past few years, Meizu has been mainly launching phones with the Snapdragon 8-series chipsets onboard. In the coming week, Qualcomm will announce the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 on March 18 in China. It is likely that the alleged Meizu 21x may feature the said chipset.
