Recently, two OPPO phones with model numbers PEPM00 and PENM00 were seen at the database of China’s 3C certification platform. The images and key specs of both phones have appeared on TENAA today. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that PEPM00 will be launching in China as the Reno6 Pro, whereas the PENM00 will be debuting as the Reno6 Pro+.
The TENAA images of PEPM00 and PENM00 OPPO smartphones show that they are equipped a curved edge display with a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner. The back panel of the PEPM00 handset seems to be fitted with a triple camera system. On the other hand, the camera island of the PENM00 models appears to be fitted with a quad-camera system and a dual-LED flash.
The tipster claimed that the 6.55-inch OLED panels of both phones carry support for a 90Hz refresh rate. These phones will come loaded with Android 11 OS and the latest version of the ColorOS UI. They are backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which carries support for 65W rapid charging.
The alleged Reno6 Pro has 160 x 73.1 x 7.6mm dimensions, whereas the Reno6 Pro+ measures 160.8 x 72.5 x 7.99mm. The tipster claimed that the former is powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset, whereas the latter will be driven by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The other specifications of both phones are under wraps.
In related news, a new OPPO smartphone with model number PEQM00 has recently bagged 3C certification. The listing revealed that it may ship with a 65W fast charger. Rumors surrounding it claimed that it has a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, a new Dimensity MT6877 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 4,400mAh battery, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel primary rear-facing camera. It remains to be seen whether it arrives in the Chinese market as the vanilla Reno6.
