Going by the release cycle of the Reno series of smartphones, OPPO is expected to unleash the Reno8 series of smartphones by June this year in China. The lineup may include at least two models such as Reno8 and Reno8 Pro. The rumor mill is yet to leak the specifications of the Reno8 series, but it is likely that these phones may sport a similar design. Months ahead of the expected launch, a new report by Lets Go Digital gives a good look at the design of the purported Reno8 Pro.
The publication claims that it has obtained images of an unknown OPPO smartphone from a design patent that is registered in China. The CAD renders of the upcoming Find X5 series has already revealed their appearance. So, the new images may belong to OPPO’s upcoming A-series, K-series, or Reno8 series of smartphones. The sleek design showcased in the images suggests that it could be the Reno8 or Reno8 Pro handset.
Starting from the front, the alleged Reno 8 / Reno 8 Pro handset can be seen sporting a display with a punch-hole camera cutout at the top-left corner. Thanks to the slim bezels, the handset promises a higher screen-to-body ratio. The device is likely to sport an AMOLED screen with an integrated fingerprint scanner.
Moving on to the sides, the left spine of the device has volume up and down buttons, whereas its right edge features a power key. The rear shell of the smartphone has a large-sized rectangle camera unit, which includes three cameras and an LED flash. The publication claims that the device may arrive in colors like black, silver, and blue gradient.
The global edition of the Reno7 series is likely to debut in the coming weeks. Hence, the rumor mill is expected to actively leak the specs of the Reno8 lineup after a couple of weeks.
