Last month, multiple leaks revealed key details of the upcoming OPPO tablet, which is tentatively called the OPPO Pad. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station leaked details of an unnamed tablet. Since the details matched up with some of the previously leaked specs, it seems that he might be talking about the OPPO Pad.
Purported OPPO Pad Specifications
The new leak claims that the tablet will have an 11-inch LCD panel, which will deliver a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. With slim bezels onboard, it may offer a high screen-to-body ratio. The Snapdragon 870 chipset is likely to power the device along with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The device will run on Android 12 OS, which will be probably overlaid with ColorOS 12. The leak suggests that it will carry support for split-screen mode and desktop mode. The tablet is expected to support a pressure-sensitive stylus. It is unclear whether the stylus will be bundled with the device, or it will be made available as an optical accessory. It is likely to draw power from an 8,080mAh battery.
Other than that, the tablet may also come equipped with a 13-megapixel Hynix Hi336 camera on the back. Likewise, there could also be an 8-megapixel camera. For security, it’s likely to support for face unlock, which indicates that it may lack a fingerprint scanner.
Recent reports have claimed that the upcoming OPPO tablet will offer users 256 GB of native storage. It is likely to cost around 2,000 Yuan ($314). Probably, the tablet will go official in the beginning months of 2022.
