The Poco F1 smartphone from Xiaomi had received good reception from critics and audience last year since it had arrived as the cheapest Snapdragon 845 SoC powered smartphone. Smartphone enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Poco F2 smartphone. Xiaomi has recently launched the Snapdragon 855 chipset powered Redmi K20 Pro arriving with budget-friendly pricing in India in the recent past. Also, Pocophone global lead Jai Mani has recently quit the company. These happenings have given birth to absurd rumors that the Chinese firm may kill the Pocophone brand and it may not launch Poco F2 phone. Today, an image of the screen protector of the purported Poco F2 has appeared on Weibo to suggest that it does exist, and it may go official in the near future.
The image of the screen protector reveals that the Poco F2 may sport a display with a waterdrop-type notch. The chin of the device seems to be slightly thick. The Poco F1 features a larger notch, but the successor device may come with a small notch on the display like the contemporary phones. The Snapdragon 855+ chipset could be present under the hood of the device. There is a possibility that the smartphone may debut later this year.
It is advisable to digest the report with a grain of salt since there is no concrete proof to prove that the screen protect really belongs to the Poco F2.
