Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset in April. Speculations are rife that Xiaomi will launch two Snapdragon 8s Elite-powered devices in the second quarter of 2025. The first appears to be the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, a performance-driven phone, while the other seems to be the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed key details about the upcoming Civi phone.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro key specifications tipped

According to DCS, an upcoming smartphone will house a 6,000mAh battery while maintaining a slim profile of around 7mm. While he has not explicitly revealed its name, the comments section of the Weibo post suggests he could be talking about the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. In comparison, last year’s Civi 4 Pro packed a 4,700mAh battery within a body measuring 7.5mm in thickness.
The tipster has reiterated that the device will feature a Snapdragon 8-series chip, which appears to be the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite. The phone’s rear camera setup is tipped to include a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will continue to feature a design similar to the Civi 4 Pro. It is expected to sport a curved-edge AMOLED panel on the front, equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and a pair of selfie cameras. The back panel is said to feature a round camera module positioned at the upper-left corner.
The other details of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro remain under wraps. Reports suggest that the same device will be rebranded as the Xiaomi 15 Civi in India.
