Xiaomi had released the Xiaomi Mi 9 in February this year. Recent reports have claimed that the company is working on a 5G version of the smartphone. It could be debuting in the market as Xiaomi Mi 9S and its model number is M1908F1XE. The smartphone has appeared with its entire specifications on TENAA.
According to the TENAA listing of M1908F1XE, the Xiaomi Mi 9S measures 157.21 x 74.64 x 8.95mm and it weighs 196 grams. The different color variants of the smartphone include black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple and gray. The handset is fitted with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that features a waterdrop notch. The handset houses a 4,000mAh battery that carries support for fast charging.
The Snapdragon 855+ chipset that includes a 2.96GHz octa-core processor powers the smartphone. The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The RAM variants of the phone that have appeared on TENAA include 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB. The smartphone comes in three storage editions of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. There is no external storage on the device.
The alleged Xiaomi Mi 9S is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. The frontside of the phone has a 20-megapixel front camera. The rear side of the phone features a triple camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary lens. There is no information available on the pricing of the phone. Also, Xiaomi is yet to confirm on the existence of the device.
