On Nov. 5, Xiaomi will be launching the Mi CC9 Pro smartphone in China. The event will be used to announce few other products such as Xiaomi smartwatch and Xiaomi Mi TV 5. The Chinese manufacturer has shared an image and keys pecs of the smartwatch. Rumors have it that it could be called Mi Watch.
The render of the purported Mi Watch reveals that it will be sporting a design that it similar to the Apple Watch as it features a square-shaped display and a physical button on its right edge. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has claimed that the Xiaomi smartwatch is “a smartphone for your wrist.”
The smartwatch will come with some connectivity features like Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. Rumors are rife that it could be powered by Snapdragon Wear 2500 or 3100 processor. The device is likely to come with support for e-SIM. Other details of the smartwatch are currently under the wraps.
