Realme has officially announced that it will unveil the Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12+ on Feb. 29 in Malaysia. While the specifications of the Pro+ variant are widely known as it has already been launched in other markets, the Realme 12+ 5G is a completely new addition to the lineup. Interestingly, the Realme 12+ is already listed on a Malaysian retailer’s website for pre-orders, revealing nearly all details about the device ahead of its official launch.
The retailer listing has revealed that the Realme 12+ 5G will be available for pre-orders between February 16 and 29. Those who pre-order by making a small deposit of RM 12 ($2.5) will get a special gift worth RM 699, which includes a smartwatch, TWS earbuds, and a 1-year extended warranty.
Realme 12+ 5G specifications
As per the listing, the Realme 12+ 5G will measure 163 x 75.5 x 7.9mm and weigh 190 grams. It will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature the Dimensity 7050 chipset and 12 GB of RAM.
The Realme 12+ 5G will offer 256 GB of built-in storage and 12 GB of virtual RAM. However, it will lack a microSD card slot. Under the hood, it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The 12+ will run on Realme UI 5-based Android 14. For selfies, the device will have a 16-megapixel camera on the front. Its rear panel will have a Sony LYT-600 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
