Realme is all set to announce the Realme 12x 5G on April 2 in India. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed a couple of details about what appears to be an entry-level model in the Realme 12 5G series. Here are all the details about the device that surfaced prior to its official announcement.
According to the brand, the Realme 12x 5G will arrive with a sub-Rs 12,000 ($145) price tag in India. The device will feature an LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For audiophiles, the device will come equipped with dual speakers, enabling stereo output.
Realme has also confirmed that the Realme 12x 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset. One of the most exciting features of the 12x is that it will have support for 45W fast charging. In addition, it has been revealed that the device will sport a slim profile of 7.69mm.
At the same time, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has shed details about the other specifications of the device. The leak indicates that the 12x will feature a 6.72-inch display with a brightness of up to 950 nits. The device will offer an IP54 rating for water resistance.
On the front, the Realme 12x will have an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. The back panel of the device will feature a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery and weigh 188 grams. The device will run on Android 14 and feature a microSD card slot for more storage. Lastly, it will come in green and purple shades.
