Realme has recently unveiled the Realme GT Neo 6 SE and GT Neo 6 powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively, in the Chinese market. Now, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has provided insights into the upcoming Realme smartphones set to launch in China.
According to Digital Chat Station, Realme’s next releases will include the numbered series and the GT numbered series. The upcoming numbered series will be a mid-range offering equipped with a new 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the flagship GT series will offer multiple flat and micro-curved screen options, a cutting-edge silicon anode high-density battery, and 100W fast charging. While the leaker did not mention the names of these devices, it appears that he could be talking about the Realme 13 Pro+ and the Realme GT 6.
The Realme 12 Pro series was announced in January of this year in China. In the same month, both phones were released on the global market. At present, there is no clarity about the launch timeframe for the 13 Pro series’ global release. As far as the China launch is concerned, the series may debut in June.
The flagship device mentioned by the tipster is likely the Realme GT 6, expected to debut in July. This model is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, positioning it against other SD8G3 devices such as the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and iQOO Neo 9s, also launching around the same time. Additionally, it will compete with the Dimensity 9300+-powered Redmi K70 Ultra, set to release in July.
Furthermore, the Realme GT 6 Pro is expected to be one of the first smartphones to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Just as the GT 5 Pro was announced in December 2023, the GT 6 Pro may go official in December of this year.
