Last week, Realme announced the all new 7-series smartphones comprising of the vanilla Realme 7 and the slightly higher-end 7 Pro.
Right now, the company has announced that a total of more than 180,000 Realme 7 smartphones were sold during its debut sale in India yesterday. Those who’re unable to secure one unit for themselves will have another opportunity to grab one during the subsequent sale on September 17th.
As a quick recap, the Realme 7 is priced at INR14,999 (US$204/ S$279) and INR16,999 (US$231/ S$316) respectively for its 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB models in the Indian market.
The device is built around a 6.5-inches FHD+ LCD display accompanied by a dewdrop-notch which houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
On its rear, the device comes with a quad camera system which will include a 64 megapixels Sony IMX682 primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels b/w sensor, as well as a 2 megapixels depth helper.
Under the hood, the Realme 7 is the first smartphone in the world to debut with the latest MediaTek G95 SoC that will be assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. It will draw power from a massive 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
