Realme will be holding a launch event to announce multiple products in India on April 7. It was revealed in the past week by the brand’s Indian division that its next launch event will see the arrival of new products such as the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone, the Realme Book Prime laptop, and the Realme Buds Air 3 TWS earbuds, and the Realme Smart TV Stick. Today, the company confirmed that it will be unveiling the Realme 9 4G at the same event.
What’s exciting about the Realme 9 4G is that it will be the first-ever smartphone to feature Samsung’s ISOCELL 108-megapixel HM6 image sensor. The NonaPixel Plus technology, along with 9-Sum Pixel binning, will make it possible to capture images with more brightness and less noise.
Realme has confirmed that the Realme 9 4G will be equipped with a 90Hz AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The screen will offer a 360Hz touch sampling rate and 100 nits of peak brightness. For security, it will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Realme is yet to confirm the processor that powers the Realme 9 4G. Leaked information that surfaced last week revealed that the smartphone will be offered in RAM variants such as 6 GB and 8 GB. Both models will arrive with 128 GB of storage.
The Realme 9 4G has a slim profile of 7.99mm and weighs 178 grams. The bottom view of the device reveals that it has a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The rear shell of the device sports the so-called Ripple Holographic design. It will be available in three hues, such as Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White, and Meteor Black. The handset will be sold through Flipkart and Realme India’s online store.
