After teasing the arrival of the Realme 9 Pro series for a couple of weeks, Realme has finally confirmed its launch date for markets like India and Indonesia. The company will be announcing the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones on Feb. 16 in these markets. The official landing pages of the Realme 9 Pro available in these markets have confirmed its key features.
The Realme 9 Pro+ is being touted as a mid-range phone with a flagship camera. According to the company, it is the only smartphone in its price segment to feature a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel camera, which is usually seen on flagship devices. The image sensor can intake more light to capture brighter shots in low-light conditions. In addition, the lens will be equipped with stabilization features like OIS and EIS. It will offer other photography features such as AI noise-reduction 3.0 and street photography 2.0 for capturing shots with long exposures.
The Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by the Dimensity 920 and it will carry support for 60W SuperDart charging. The device will feature a 90Hz AMOLED display, which will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor. A recent teaser released by the brand had confirmed that the fingerprint sensor can be also used for tracking heart rate on the device.
Moving on to the Realme 9 Pro, it features a 120Hz LCD display, which indicates that it may come with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 695 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart charging. For photography, it is fitted with a 64-megapixel triple camera unit.
The Realme 9 Pro duo will carry support for NFC connectivity. In addition, the Sunrise Blue edition of the Realme 9 Pro and Pro+ will be sporting a color-shifting rear panel that can change colors when exposed to sunlight at specific temperatures.
