Today, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth announced the arrival of the Realme C1 (2019) smartphone in India. In terms of specs and appearance, it resembles with Realme C1 phone that was announced in September last year. The only major changes arriving on the entry-level smartphone is the inclusion of more RAM and storage.
The Realme C1 (2019) starting variant has 2 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32 GB. It carries a price tag of Rs. 7,499 ($105) The second variant features 3 GB of RAM and it has a native storage of 32 GB. This model is priced at Rs. 8,499 ($119). Both variants are will be available for purchase in the country from 12 PM on Feb. 5. The Realme C1 (2019) will be available in Deep Black and Ocean Blue color variants.
The Realme C1 (2019) has a 6.2-inch notched screen that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 450 chipset is the driving force of the smartphone. It is packed with a 4,230mAh battery. For photography, there is 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the backside of the Realme C1 (2019) and a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel. The Android 8.1 Oreo OS with ColorOS 5.2 is preloaded on the smartphone. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.
