Realme C21Y debuts with Unisoc T610 chipset in Vietnam

Realme has announced a new variant of the Realme C21 smartphone in the Vietnamese market dubbed as the Realme C21Y. This device shares pretty much the same specs as the former, except the phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 chipset instead of the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset which was used in the Realme C21.

Upfront, the Realme C21Y features the same 6.5” LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. On top of that, you also get a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed within it’s dewdrop-notch

Around the back of the phone, it boasts a square-shape camera module which houses a triple-cam system consisting of a 13 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras.

As mentioned earlier, the Realme C21Y is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. On the software-side, the phone boots on Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box.

In the Vietnamese market, the Realme C21Y carries a starting price of 3,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$151), and is available in both Black and Blue options.
