Last week, Realme first announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Realme C31 in Indonesian market. Now, the company has expanded the availability of the phone to India where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just INR8,999 (US$119).
Right off the bat, the phone features a 6.5” LCD display which offers a modest HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. On top of that, there’s also a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfies and video calls on the device.
Over at the back, we’ll be greeted by a square-shaped camera module which houses a trio of cameras including a 13 megapixels main camera and a pair for 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Realme C31 smartphone is claimed to be powered by an octa-core UNISOC T612 chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Other than that, it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is expected to be shipped with Realme UI R based on Android 11 out of the box.
