Realme has took to Weibo to confirm that it will be holding its first unveil event in China. The event will be held at Beijing to announce the Realme X smartphone. The company isalso expected to announce the Realme X Youth phone alongside it. The Realme X and Realme X Youth names have been also confirmed through China’s Jingdong Mall online retailer.
The Realme X is rumored to arrive as a high-end phone. The smartphone will be arriving with a notch-less screen and a pop-up selfie camera. Recent reports have revealed that it will be housing a big display of 6.5 inches. The Snapdragon 730 mobile platform is expected to fuel the phone. However, there are some contradictory rumors that claim that it may feature Snapdragon 855 SoC.
For photography, the Realme X could be equipped with 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. However, there is no information available on the specs of the front-facing camera. It will be arriving with a minimum capacity battery of 3,680mAh battery that will carry support for VOOC 3.0 flash charging. The smartphone will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
It is expected to arrive in models like 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. They are rumored to be respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan, 1,799 Yuan and 1,999 Yuan. As far as Realme X Youth Edition is concerned, it could be the very same Realme 3 Pro that was in April in India.
