Realme will be holding the Realme GT 2 series event on Dec. 20. It is speculated that the Chinese manufacturer may not launch the rumoured Realme GT 2 Pro flagship on the said date but showcase some of its features. However, it appears that it may not take too long for the GT 2 Pro to go official in China since it has recently been approved by the Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and CMIIT.
Reports have revealed that the RMX3300 and RMX3301 model numbers are both associated with the Realme GT 2 Pro flagship. The RMX3300 model was spotted at the AnTuTu benchmarking site last month. Last week, it was spotted in the database of the CMIIT authority and now it has been approved by the 3C authority of China.
There have been speculations that the GT 2 Pro will be Realme’s first phone to carry support for 125W fast charging. However, the 3C certification tells a different story. As can be seen in the screenshot, the RMX3300 phone may ship with a 65W fast charger. It seems that the RMX3300 will soon appear at the TENAA certification site with images and key specifications in the next few days.
Reports have claimed that the Realme GT 2 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will be powering the device. The GT 2 Pro may come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The GT 2 Pro may feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and its rear shell may house an OIS-ready 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a telephoto camera. There is no word on the size of its battery. It is expected to ship with the Realme UI 3.0 flavored Android 12 OS.
