The Realme GT 2 Pro moniker has been officially confirmed. Sky Li, the founder and CEO of Realme shared the name through a tweet today. This moniker reportedly belongs to the upcoming flagship phone from the brand.
Sky Li said that the Realme GT 2 Pro name belongs to the company’s most premium flagship phone. The device is expected to arrive as Realme’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Apart from featuring the latest chipset, the GT 2 Pro is rumoured to be packed with features like a high refresh AMOLED display, OIS-enabled rear cameras, and a big battery with 100W+ fast charging support.
Recent reports have revealed that Realme GT 2 Pro flagship phone will go official in Q1 2022. It can be said based on recent reports that model numbers RMX3300 and RMX3301 both belong to the GT 2 Pro.
Realme GT 2 Pro Specifications
According to the rumors, the Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.51-inch AMOLED curved edge display that delivers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered phone is expected to ship with 12 GB of LPDDR5 and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For security, it may come with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is likely to come with Realme UI 3.0 based Android 12 preinstalled.
The GT 2 Pro may house a 5,000mAh battery, which may carry support for 125W UltraDart rapid charging. The front side of the device may feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera setup of the phone may comprise of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel auxiliary snapper.
