Realme is expected to announce the Realme GT 5 featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset this month in China. By the end of the year, the company may unveil the Realme GT 5 Pro, featuring a brand-new flagship chipset. In a recent Weibo post, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station leaked a few details about the cameras of the GT 5 Pro.
It appears that the tipster has revealed that the Relme GT 5 Pro will have a Sony IMX9-series, 1.14x-inch primary camera with OIS support. In his previous leaks, he claimed that the GT 5 Pro would have a periscope zoom camera. The tipster has now revealed that the device will be equipped with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. He did not reveal any details about the ultra-wide camera of the device.
It seems that the OnePlus 12 will also have the same set of cameras, along with Hasselblad camera optimizations. The other details of the GT 5 Pro are yet to be revealed. Until then, here is a look at the leaked specifications of the GT 5.

The Realme GT 5 will feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of photography, the phone will feature a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
On the back, there will be a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, ensuring versatile and high-quality photography options. It will run on Realme UI 4.0-flavored Android 13.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device will come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the phone will be available in two battery variants: one with a 4,600mAh battery supporting 240W fast charging and another with a 5,200mAh battery offering 150W fast charging.
