Realme has recently launched the Realme GT 5 flagship phone, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is speculated that the brand could be working on its next flagship phone, the Realme GT 5 Pro, for the Chinese market. Tipster Digital Chat Station has been leaking key details about the Pro model for the past few weeks. In a new Weibo post, he again mentioned the key specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro.

According to the tipster, the Realme GT 5 Pro will be equipped with a curved-edge OLED panel that offers 2K resolution and ultra-high-frequency dimming. For durability, the device will be equipped with a metallic middle frame.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be present under the hood of the Realme GT 5 Pro. Without mentioning the battery size of the device, the tipster claimed that it will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. As per DCS’ previous leak, the device will be backed by a 5,400mAh battery.
The GT 5 Pro will arrive with 24 GB of RAM (LPDDR5x) and 1 TBT of storage (UFS 4.0). For an enhanced gaming experience, the device will be equipped with an x-axis linear motor and a vapor chamber heat dissipation system with a surface area of probably 10,000 10,000mm2.
When it comes to optics, the Realme GT 5 Pro will have an OmniVision OV64B 64-megapixel periscope camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. It will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series main camera and an ultra-wide lens, according to a previous report. There is no information available about its front camera.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to come with very similar specs. However, it will have Hasselblad camera optimizations and exclusive software customizations, which will not be there on the Realme GT 5 Pro. While a lot of details of the GT 5 Pro have emerged, it is still unclear whether it will launch this year or in Q1 2024.
