Realme GT 5G lands in the Thai market

Following it’s global announcement earlier this month, the Realme GT 5G has now made it’s way to the Thai market where the phone retails at 19,990 Baht (US$624) for it’s sole 8GB+128GB variant. In fact, Thailand is the first country in South-East Asia to begin selling this highly anticipated handset.

To recap, the Realme GT 5G features a 6.43-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, as well as a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate. Similarly, the front display also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, and has a 16 megapixels selfie camera housed within a hole-punch cutout.

For photography, the Realme GT 5G relies on a triple-camera system around the back of the phone which is lead by a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. To enhance gaming experience, the phone also features a linear vibration motor which brings 4D vibration during gaming for a more immersive experience.

On the audio side, the phone gets a Hi-Res certified dual speakers and brings along the much coveted 3.5mm headphone jack. Keeping its lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery that come with support for 65W SuperDart charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with the custom Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
