Realme will be launching the Realme GT flagship phone in China on March 4. Ahead of the launch, the company is gradually revealing some of the key features of the handset. Today, it shared a new poster to hint on its price tag.
As the poster shows, the Realme GT will carry a price tag of less than 2,999 Yuan ($465). At this price, the handset will offer users topnotch specs like the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and an enhanced version of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase said that the Realme GT 5G will not come in 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition. Hence, there is a possibility that the base model of the phone may offer users 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 5G, Vivo X60 Pro+, and iQOO 7 smartphones are some of the Snapdragon 888 powered phones that were recently announced in China. The Xiaomi flagship starts at 3,999 Yuan ($610), the Vivo flagship cost 4,999 Yuan ($775) for the base model, and the iQOO 7 begins at 3,798 Yuan ($586).
Today, Redmi will be announcing the Redmi K40 Pro flagship smartphone in China. The Snapdragon 888 SoC powered phone is expected to arrive with a starting price of 2,999 Yuan. Now that Realme has confirmed a sub-2,999 Yuan (~$465) pricing for the Realme GT 5G, it may hit the market as the cheapest Snapdragon 888 powered phone.
The Realme GT 5G is expected to arrive with other specs such as a 120Hz refresh rate display, 64-megapixel triple cameras, 65W fast charging support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be available in leather and glass back versions.
