The Realme GT 7 will be among the first phones to feature the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The device, set to launch later this month in China, is expected to feature a massive battery coupled with impressive fast charging capabilities. Today, Xu Qi Chase, Realme’s Vice President, Global Marketing President, and China Region President, shared a Weibo post revealing the battery and charging details of the device. Additionally, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key specifications of the device.

Xu Qi Chase highlighted that many smartphone users lower gaming settings to extend battery life—something Realme wants to change. He emphasized that a true flagship should offer both sustained performance and long-lasting battery life, rather than forcing users to choose between the two. To achieve this, the GT 7 will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, combined with a 7,000mAh+ battery and 100W fast charging, ensuring a seamless gaming and multitasking experience.

At the same time, DCS’ latest Weibo post reveals that the Realme GT 7 will sport a 144Hz BOE flat display with ultra-thin bezels that measures 1.34mm. Despite packing a massive battery, the device will maintain a lightweight profile, weighing less than 205 grams and measuring under 8.3mm thick.
Additionally, the device will feature a plastic frame, IP69 water resistance, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an optimised version of Realme UI that will borrow some features from ColorOS.
The Realme GT 7 will arrive as a successor to last year’s Realme GT 6, which debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in July. At present, there is no clarity on whether the GT 7 will be released in markets outside of China.
