Realme GT 7 Pro could be an IP69-rated smartphone

Realme will unveil the Realme GT 6 in China in July. This device will be different from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered GT 6 available in the global market. By the end of this year, the brand will announce the Realme GT 7 Pro in the global and Chinese markets. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station released a new Weibo post to share more information about the phone.

The new leak suggests that the Realme GT 7 Pro heading to China will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It will feature a curved flat display that offers a 1.5K resolution. For security, it will have a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The leak further reveals that the device will have a triple camera system on the back. The setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera, a 3x periscope telephoto camera, and an auxiliary lens.

The tipster also mentioned that the Realme GT 7 Pro will offer an IP68 (potentially IP69) rating for dust and water resistance. The phone will also come with an ultra-large silicon anode battery. However, he did not reveal the battery size. The tipster previously revealed that the device will be equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

In related news, Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard in July in China. This device will be different from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Realme GT 6, which went official in the global market recently. In addition, the brand is also said to be working on the Realme 13 Pro series, which may debut at some point in July in different markets.
