Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition’s battery, charging speed, IP rating details officially confirmed

Realme will take the covers off the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition phone tomorrow in China. The handset, which is said to pack the same internals as the GT 7 Pro but lack a periscope telephoto camera, is expected to arrive as the most affordable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Ahead of the launch, the company released two new posters confirming the key specifications of the Racing Edition.

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition key details confirmed

As seen above, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will be equipped with a 6,500mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. The device will arrive with up to an IP69 rating. It will run Realme UI 6-based Android 15 out of the box.

As per other reports, the Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.78-inch micro-quad-curved Samsung screen offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the GT 7 Pro has an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, the Racing Edition may come equipped with an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor to keep the cost of the device low.

The Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition may ship with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For photography, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. The device will be available in two shades: Neptune Explorer and Star Trail Titanium.

At present, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, which is exclusively available in the Chinese market, holds the title of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. While the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition is expected to snatch this title, there is no clarity on whether it will be released in markets outside China.
