Realme GT 7 Pro to pack 6,000mAh battery with 100W charging

Tomorrow, Realme will launch the Realme GT 6 flagship phone in China, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Following the GT 6, the brand is expected to shift its focus to the Realme 13 Pro series of smartphones. In December, Realme plans to announce the Realme GT 7 Pro, featuring the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in China. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station posted on Weibo, leaking some details about the GT 7 Pro. Although not explicitly naming the phone, the presence of a cat emoji in the post strongly suggests he’s referring to the upcoming Realme device, likely the GT 7 Pro.

DCS’ Weibo post suggests that the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro flagship model resembles a certain competitor in design, featuring a flat or nearly flat screen. The OnePlus 13 appears to be the competing device that the tipster could hint at.

The leaker further suggests that the GT 7 Pro will have a triple-camera setup sporting a rectangular camera module. It will include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a periscope telephoto camera. The latter appears to be a Sony IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom, as per a previous leak by DCS.

Additionally, it will include a silicon-negative electrode battery with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 100W rapid charging. Despite pack a huge battery, the phone will maintain a slim profile with a thickness controlled to around 8.5mm.

Other reports have revealed that the Realme GT 7 Pro will be Realme’s first phone with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. Additionally, it will be the company’s first phone to offer IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
