The Realme GT 8 series is all set to go official on Oct. 21 in China. The brand has been teasing some of the key features of the GT 8 Pro for the past few days. Today, the brand has revealed a few key specifications of the standard GT 8.
Realme GT 8 key specifications confirmed

The official pre-order page of the Realme GT 8 confirms that it will feature an OLED panel that supports a 2K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate. For those who don’t know, the GT 8 Pro will also have a 2K 144Hz OLED screen. Rumours suggest that the GT 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch display, while the GT 8 could be slightly smaller with a 6.6-inch display.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 8 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This will allow the phone to rival the likes of the iQOO Neo 11, OnePlus Ace 6, and Redmi K90.
On the other hand, the Realme GT 8 Pro will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 onboard. This means that this device will rival the likes of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, OnePlus 15, Realme GT 8 Pro, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro.
The Realme GT 8’s rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the other hand, the GT 8 Pro edition will have a 200-megapixel periscope camera. It remains to be seen whether the Ricoh GR camera features that are confirmed to be available on the GT 8 Pro will also be seen on the standard version.
The Realme GT 8 series is expected to run on Android 16 and Realme UI 7. Both devices are also said to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and a metal frame.
