Yesterday, Realme officially confirmed the existence of the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone for China. Its TENAA listing of the phone, which was spotted last month revealed that it may arrive in three colors like blue, black, and orange in the home market. A leaked image shared by a Chinese tipster today reveals that the company may release the GT Neo 2 in a special green model.
The leaked image reveals that Realme may have teamed up with Mercedes-AMG for the green edition of the Realme GT Neo 2. The color scheme of the device seems to be inspired by Mercedes’ 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R supercar. The green model can be seen flaunting a big AMG branding on the rear shell. It remains to be seen whether the company announces the green variant at the launch event of the Realme GT Neo 2.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications (Expected)
It seems that the Realme smartphone with RMX3370 model number, which has been certified by China’s TENAA and 3C authorities may soon debut as the Realme GT Neo 2. The handset has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset powers the handset. It is expected to arrive in 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB RAM variants and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB storage options in China. It will boot to Realme UI based Android 11 OS.
The GT Neo 2 will feature a selfie camera of 16-megapixel. Its rear camera setup may include a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will house a 4,500mAh battery, which may carry support for 65W fast charging.
