Earlier this year, Realme announced the Realme GT Neo smartphone with Dimensity 1200 chip in China. Recent reports have claimed that the company is working on its successor edition. Today, Realme officially confirmed that it will be soon launching the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone.
The leaked renders of the Realme GT Neo2 that appeared last month revealed that it will be sporting a punch-hole display on the front and a 64-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. It is speculated that the RMX3370 phone that was approved by the TENAA authority of China in the recent past may debut as the GT Neo 2.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications (Rumored)
As per the TENAA listing of the RMX3370, it features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is likely to carry support for a high refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset could be present under the hood of the device. It may arrive in RAM variants like 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB and storage options like 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The device lacks a microSD card. Like the recent Realme phones, the RMX3370 is expected to come preinstalled with Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS.
For photography, it has a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. It is likely to house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It is also speculated that this device may debut as the Realme GT Neo Gaming Edition in markets outside China.
