Realme recently unveiled the Realme GT Neo 5 in China. The phone comes in 150W and 240W charging variants. Reports have claimed that the GT Neo 5 240W will be rebranded as the Realme GT 3 in the global market. Reports have revealed that the company could be working on a toned-down version of the GT Neo 5, which could be called the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite or SE. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the key details of the device.
According to DCS, the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite will come equipped with the Snapdragon 7475 chipset, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 chipset. To make it available as an affordable device, the Lite model will not have the 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera and RGB lighting, which are available on the Realme GT Neo 5.
According to the leak, the GT Neo 5 Lite will have a flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole in the centre. It will support a 1.5K resolution.
The rear side of the device will have a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64M primary camera. It will house a large camera module like the GT Neo 5 and have the same arrangement for the LED flash, but it will lack the RIG light and transparent cover.
The device will house a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. The other details of the phone are yet to be revealed. Speculation is rife that it will launch in April 2023.
