Realme is likely to announce the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro as its next flagship phone for the Chinese market. It is expected to debut in July or August of this year. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station mentioned the key specifications of the smartphone.

According to DCS, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.74-inch display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels, which translates to an impressive 1.5K+ resolution. The display is also said to boast a high refresh rate of 144Hz and support a 2160Hz PWM dimming.
In the camera department, the GT Neo 5 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support and 0.6x to 20x zoom support. On the front, it is rumored to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Realme GT Neo 5 Pro could be powered by a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and not the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset, which is expected to launch later this month. The SoC of the GT Neo 5 Pro will be complemented by 16 GB of RAM. The tipster has previously claimed that the device will be available in 512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
To keep the lights on, the GT Neo 5 Pro will feature a 5200mAh battery and 150W charging. There are reports that the device will also come in a 100W charging variant, but the new leak does not say anything about that. Also, DCS has previously claimed that the device will have a large transparent area on the back, like the Realme GT Neo 5.
