Realme is set to unveil the Realme GT Neo 5 SE on April 3 in China. As usual, the brand is now busy confirming the key features of the device. In a Weibo post released today, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed the battery size and charging capabilities of the phone.
According to the brand, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will pack a 5,500mAh battery. The massive battery will have support for 100W fast charging. It appears that it could be the most affordable smartphone with 100W charging capabilities in the Chinese market, as it is said to cost between 2,000 Yuan ($290) and 3,000 Yuan ($345).
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE will inherit the GT Neo 5’s display. It is confirmed to house a 6.74-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will also offer high frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming, up to 1,400 nits of maximum brightness, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
One of the major highlights of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is that it will come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. The highest edition of the device may ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The GT Neo 5 SE will run on the Android 13 OS, which will be flavored with the latest Realme UI 4.0. For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera module on the phone’s back will have a 64-megapixel primary camera. The device is rumored to come equipped with 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro cameras. It will arrive in black and Final Fantasy color options.
