Realme is reportedly working on its sub-flagship phone, dubbed the Realme GT Neo 6 for the Chinese market. The rumour mill has been gradually leaking key details about the smartphone, which is expected to take on the likes of the Honor 90 GT, iQOO Neo 9, OnePlus Ace 3, and Redmi K70 in the home market. Here is a look at the new details about the GT Neo 6.
Realme GT Neo 6 specifications (rumored)
According to a Chinese tipster, various smartphone manufacturers are opting to launch phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with Realme being one of the mentioned brands in this context. The upcoming GT Neo 6 will feature the chipset and arrive at an astonishing price of around 2,000 Yuan ($281).
The leaker added that the engineering prototype of the GT Neo 6 is equipped with 24 GB of RAM. Likely, the final device may also feature the said amount of RAM. To recall, the GT Neo 5, which debuted in February 2023, maxed out at 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The tipster previously claimed that the GT Neo 6 will be equipped with a display that supports a 1.5K resolution. In addition, it is said to arrive with a metal middle frame. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.
As far as the launch is concerned, the Realme GT Neo 6 is expected to go official in Q1 2024. Realme is yet to tease the Realme 12 Pro series in the Chinese market. The 12 Pro models may likely go official in February, while the GT Neo 6 may break cover in March.
