Realme is expected to unveil the Realme GT 7 Pro in China in the last quarter of this year, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. In addition, it may be the first phone with this chipset worldwide. Additionally, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that Realme is working on affordable flagship models like the Realme GT Neo 7 and Realme GT 8, specifically for the Chinese market.
Realme GT Neo 7, Realme GT 8 could be in works
In a recent Weibo post, the tipster asserted that in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 flagship (referring to the Realme GT 7 Pro), Realme will also be releasing the affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 4 phones earlier than anticipated. He added that these devices will come equipped with BOE’s custom flat screen design.
Speculating, the affordable flagship phones may refer to the Realme GT Neo 7 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the Realme GT 8 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The tipster also hinted at the arrival of a mid-range phone in the first half of next year, promising significant upgrades in display, battery, and performance. However, the exact identity of this mid-range phone remains unclear.
At present, the company is busy launching mid-range phones in different markets. The Realme 13 5G and the Realme 13+ 5G have just been launched in India. In China, the brand has just launched the Realme 13 Pro+ and is soon going to launch the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 series.
According to reports, the Realme GT 7 Pro will have a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO 1.5K display with micro-curved edges. It may come with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh+ battery with 100W rapid charging. The rear camera setup consists of an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens with 10x hybrid and 120x digital zoom. It may run on Android 15, and offer an IP68/69 water and dust resistance.
