Just yesterday, we’d learned about the existence of the Realme GT Neo2 smartphone and had gotten our first look at the phone’s design courtesy of a series of CAD-based renderings. This device had apparently been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority which hints that we shouldn’t be far off from it’s official launch.
Now, a new leak surfaced on Twitter appears to suggest that the Realme GT Neo2 is likely to launch under the Realme GT Neo Gaming moniker as seen in the alleged teaser of the phone which showcase a similar looking design as what we saw on the GT Neo2.
To add more credence to it, the same teaser also claimed that the forthcoming GT Neo Gaming smartphone will be feature an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset and 64MP triple-cam setup just like the GT Neo2.
Considering that the current Realme GT Neo was rebranded as the Realme X7 Max in the global market, it isn’t really surprising that the upcoming Realme GT Neo2 will receive a rebranding treatment in the global market this time round as well.
At the moment, there’s still no words on the official launch date of the Realme GT Neo Gaming, but there’s a possibility that the phone could be unveiled as early as September next month.
