Realme is all set to announce the Realme GT Neo2 on Sept. 22 in China. The company has already revealed the appearance of the smartphone. Today, the company shared some vital information on the specs of the device.
The Realme GT Neo2 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. To recollect, the original Realme GT Neo that debuted earlier this year was equipped with the Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The GT Neo was equipped with a 4,500mAh battery. Realme has now confirmed that its successor will feature a larger 5,000mAh battery. Like the predecessor model, it will carry support for 65W fast charging. According to Realme, the GT Neo2 can fully charge in just 36 minutes.
The Realme GT Neo2 will be sporting a punch-hole screen. It can be said based on recent reports that it is fitted with a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
In terms of photography, the GT Neo2 is likely to feature a 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup. It will come preinstalled with Realme UI based Android 11 OS.
The GT Neo2 is expected to arrive with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The company has already showcased its green variant called Black Mint. It is likely to come in other colors such as black, blue, and orange. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the device.
