Last month, Realme announced it’s next generation’s GT Neo2 smartphone in the Chinese market which was met with great demand with more than 100,000 units sold on the day of it’s debut sale.
Now, the phone is apparently nearing it’s global launch as the phone’s promo page is already up on Realme India’s official site. Similarly, the company has also begun teasing the phone on it’s social media handles which all point toward it’s imminent launch.
Apart from India, the Realme GT Neo2 is also reportedly heading to the European market, where the phone is tipped to be priced at EUR 369 and EUR 459 respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
As a quick recap, the Realme GT Neo2 sports a 6.6” Samsung E4 AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 600Hz touch sampling rate, as well as an impressive peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
For photography, the phone relies on a triple-cam setup at the back of the phone comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels selfie camera upfront.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo2 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset, and is equipped with a respectable5,000mAh battery that carries support for 65W fast-charging. The phone as usual, will be shipped with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
