Earlier this year, Realme launched the Realme GT Neo smartphone as the world’s first smartphone powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Today, the company confirmed that it will be holding a launch event at 2 PM (local time) on Sept. 22 to unleash the Realme GT Neo2. The launch poster released by the brand only confirms the unveiling date of the device and has no information on its specs.

It is speculated that the Realme phone with the RMX3370 model that was approved by the TENAA authority of China will be debuting soon as the Realme GT Neo2. The TENAA listing of the device revealed that it has a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset is expected to fuel the device with up to 12 GB of RAM. It is likely to arrive with up to 256 GB of internal storage. The device will run on Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS.
The handset may draw power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It may feature a front camera of 16-megapixel, and its rear camera setup may include a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The GT Neo2 measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 199.8 grams. As per the TENAA listing, it is expected to arrive in black, blue, and orange colors. A recent leak claimed that the company may have teamed up with Mercedes-AMG for a special green-colored version of the GT Neo2.
