After all the leaks and rumors, Realme has finally confirmed that the much anticipated Realme GT2 series will be making it’s global debut on December 20th next week. Although the company didn’t dive into details, but past reports had claimed that the company will be launching it’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered smartphone known as the Realme GT2 Pro during the event.
In fact, most details pertaining to the phone had already been leaked ahead of it’s launch. According to a recent leak, the Realme GT2 Pro is expected to feature a 6.8” OLED panel that offers a sharp WQHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it’s also expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as a 32 megapixels front-facing camera.
In the imaging department, it’s expected to feature a triple-camera setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 50 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto camera to handle zoom shots. On top of that, the cameras are also said to be equipped with GR lenses developed by Ricoh that possess excellent resistance against backlighting.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen1 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage in the memory department. On top of that, the device was also tipped to be equipped with a mind-blowing 125W fast-charging solution.
